Dr. Qaedjohar Dhariwal practices as a Consultant in Joint Replacement (Knee and Hip, Primary and Revision) in the city of Pune. He consults at Inamdar Hospital which is a fully equipped 120 bedded hospital in Fatima Nagar, Pune. He is a panel consultant at all major hospitals in Pune.
He has achieved a gold medal in the FCPS Ortho examination.He has abundant experience in handling primary and revision joint replacement surgery.
He has have conducted multiple live surgery Demos (audio-video) for the purpose of teaching fellow orthopaedic surgeons. He is regularly invited to give lectures on technical aspects of knee replacement at conferences and CME’s.
In addition to his expertise in Joint Replacement, he has a passion for research.He has publications in national and international peer reviewed journals and has also presented papers in many national level conferences. He is currently involved in a number of research projects on various aspects of replacement surgery. He is Section Editor of Journal of Orthopedic Case Reports and on the Editorial Board of Journal of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
Recently he was invited as a teaching faculty at the ‘Certificate Course in Research Methodology: Thesis writing and journal publication’ held in Pune by the Indian Orthopaedic Research Group.
He has developed mobile-phone software for clinical data collection along with a tool to measure knee range of motion (goniometer) and a tool to measure alignment on radiographs. He was Invited as Faculty at the 5th annual conference of Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons at Bengaluru – 10th April, 2011 to speak on this software.
